I like your

I do not like your Christians.
They are so unlike your Christ.
Gandhi At the risk of seeming to be
speaking for the late Mr. Gandhi, I see this sticker as pointing to how
Christianity as it is widely practiced today differs from the teachings of
Christ. In America especially, there seems to be a view among Christians that
war is easily justifiable, especially when waged against a non-Christian
people, or a non-Christian government. Many people think of
America as a "Christian nation." Though this belief is highly
debatable, one result of this belief seems to be that Christians feel they must
support the U.S. government, especially when it is being lead by a Christian
president. There is also a strong materialistic streak to
American Christianity, which seems to be based on the notion that if God has
blessed you, the evidence will be the size of your house, or the price of your
car. Of course, neither of these ideas is supported by the
teachings of Christ. Dan R. Frazier
